What Is Tesamorelin?
Tesamorelin is a synthetic analogue of human growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH 1-44) carrying an N-terminal trans-3-hexenoyl modification. That modification protects the peptide from rapid degradation by dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4), substantially extending its activity compared with native GHRH.
